July 30, 2010, Newsletter Issue #139: Keeping Track Of What You Loan Or Borrow

Tip of the Week

Borrowing and loaning out our books, tapes, and other
classroom items is a fact of life in a teacherīs
world. We love to share, but we can forget what we
loaned out or borrowed. A great solution is to take a
clipboard and attach a pen to it. Slide copies of a
form that has the following heading:

ITEM BORROWED? LOANED? * TO/FROM WHOM ? * DATE DUE

You can probably come up with even better headings,
but at least you have the idea. Make sure you place
the clipboard where you will have quick and easy
access.

Those few minutes you take to complete the form will
save you several more in tracking down that precious item.
